Educational Support Mission

In 2020, Ram Kumar initiated the establishment of a hostel specifically tailored to cater to visually impaired girls hailing from various rural villages across India. Located in Mahendru Enclave, Gujranwalan, Delhi, this hostel provides essential amenities, including free boarding and lodging, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder these girls’ educational pursuits. Currently, we are privileged to offer these vital services to visually impaired girls, all of whom come from severely marginalized and economically disadvantaged families with minimal or no external support.

Typing classes for the visually impaired Duration 6 months.

Computer courses for the visually impaired Duration 6 months.

Financial assistance for abandoned visually impaired girls

Our hostel facility for blind and visually impaired girls is a place of empowerment, where dreams are nurtured and potential is realized. We are dedicated to providing a supportive and inclusive environment that enables these remarkable individuals to thrive, break barriers, and lead fulfilling lives.

We firmly believe in the power of education as a catalyst for change and empowerment. Working at the ground level, we have come across many such visually impaired children, especially from the rural far-off regions, who are either orphans or have been given up on by their own parents. While working with these children, we have observed that one of the major issues faced by them is the lack of finance to pay writer fees and eventually trace an eligible writer. That's why we are proud to offer scholarships specifically tailored for visually impaired girls. Our scholarship program ensures that financial constraints do not hinder educational goals.

Under the financial assistance scheme, we assist with scribe expenses, academic charges, purchasing of visually impaired tools or applications, and Braille books that are beneficial for their academic and career growth.
