Imagine navigating the busy streets, crossing roads filled with fast-moving traffic, or boarding a metro without the ability to see. For blind girls in India, this is an everyday challenge. Many people are compelled to travel long distances to access educational opportunities and skill training, facing constant dangers such as being hit by vehicles, attacked by stray dogs, or struggling through unsafe public transport. Their path to empowerment is filled with obstacles that sighted individuals rarely consider.
We have a solution—and we need your support.
We are proud to announce that we have purchased land in Burari, Delhi, near the Delhi University North Campus, where we will build a Safe Haven for Blind Girls—a space where they can live, learn, and grow without fear. This facility will provide shelter, food, and training under one roof, eliminating the need for them to travel through unsafe conditions.
Our Vision: A Secure and Empowering Space of 1337 Square Feet
Second & Third Floors:A Safe Shelter offering accommodation, nutritious meals, and a secure environment for 40-50 blind, abandoned, and needy girls who have nowhere else to go
